The Solar Club adopted a local street, stream, and flower bed in the town of Boone by picking up litter multiple times throughout each year. The main reason we participate in the Boone Adoption program is to help promote and educate our community about sustainable and healthy living. Also, we do this to help make our environment more clean, healthy, and presentable. By committing to help clean up Boone, we are helping the town of Boone save over $20,000 each year.
